About this opportunity:
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to provide clinical mental health services to individuals with moderate to severe and complex mental health needs across Tamworth, Armidale, and Gunnedah.
In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based psychological therapies, support early intervention, and promote recovery and wellbeing in regional communities.
* Provide person-centred, culturally appropriate therapeutic care
* Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT, trauma-focused therapy)
* Liaise with GPs, allied health providers and community services
* Use flexible service delivery methods, including outreach and telehealth
* Participate in program planning and continuous quality improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current membership with AHPRA, AASW, or ACA
* Experience providing clinical mental health care in primary settings
* Skilled in risk assessment and trauma-informed support
* Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Driver's licence, WWCC, and National Police Check required
