The Role
We seek a dedicated professional for our prawn farm in Proserpine on a full-time contract until further notice. This position is crucial to daily operations, contributing to prawn health and productivity.
Responsibilities
* Monitor prawn activity, health, and water quality parameters daily.
* Perform water exchanges and manage pond inputs for optimal growing conditions.
* Carry out pond remediation and preparation activities post-harvest and for new seasons.
* Operate farm vehicles to distribute materials and feed across the site.
* Identify and report any issues with prawns, water quality, or infrastructure.
* Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and environmental protocols.
