Ventia is seeking a motivated and organised Cleaning Team Leader to join our Station Cleaning team in a reliable weekday role.

This role begins and ends each day at Perth Train Station, where you will drive a company van along one of the train lines to ensure stations remain clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.
About The Role
Position:
Cleaning Team Leader
Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
or
1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Pay:
$30.71 per hour plus superannuation
Contract:
Full-Time until end of July 2026 (with potential extension)
Location:
Perth Train Station, servicing stations along train line
You will lead a team of cleaners and work hands-on to maintain high cleaning standards across rail stations.
This role suits someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, and making public spaces safer and more pleasant for thousands of commuters each day.
Key Responsibilities
Clean platforms, restrooms, public areas, and station facilities
Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, bin emptying, and restocking
Operate pressure washers and scrubber machines
Monitor supplies, report maintenance issues, and follow safety procedures
Lead a team of ten cleaners and maintain communication with supervisors

What You Need
* Previous cleaning experience
* Experience leading or supervising a team
* WA driver licence and confidence driving a company van
* National Police Check (within the last three months)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in delivering excellent standards
