Your responsibilities will include:

* Coordinating stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, meetings, and consultation processes.
* Developing and maintaining detailed event documentation, including runsheets, briefing notes, budgeting, timelines and other materials to support seamless execution.
* Managing event logistics, venue and supplier coordination to ensure successful delivery.
* Maintaining stakeholder engagement databases, following University policies and processes.
* Assisting the Communications and Engagement Coordinator with communications activities as needed, including preparation of event related promotional materials and digital content.
* Working collaboratively with researchers, Research Office colleagues and stakeholders across the University to support research engagement initiatives.

Who we are looking for (selection criteria):

* An undergraduate degree and relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Experience planning, coordinating and delivering events, including budget planning, logistics, and preparation of detailed event documentation.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and build effective working relationships across all levels.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, timely information to diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating engagement strategies.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Proficiency with digital tools and a willingness to support communications activities when required.

Role Requirements:

1. As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction
