We are seeking an experienced Power Pages Developer with extensive knowledge of front end development to join our team for a service transformation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Apps development, a good understanding of data integration, and a knack for problem-solving. The candidate should possess expertise in integrating front-end code with Power Pages/Apps Portal, experience in managing Dataverse, setup of security and authentication, and other related Microsoft technologies.
* Managing the implementation of UI components using Liquid Template, HTML, JavaScript and CSS, taking full ownership of the front-end development process.
* Customizing portal themes, layouts, and components to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across different devices and screen sizes.
* Developing forms and workflows within PowerApps portals to capture user input, process requests, and automate business processes.
* Develop custom Power App components which can be used across the portal.
* Integrate Power Portals with Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and other external systems using APIs and web services.
* Configure and manage entities, forms, views, and relationships in Dataverse to support portal operations.
* Follow WCAG 2.1 Accessibility standards at a minimum during development.
* Ensure adherence to the design system guidelines and standards throughout the project.
* Collaborate with D365 specialists to address integration challenges and ensure compatibility.
* Take accountability for the quality of UI components, conducting thorough testing and validation.
* Address and resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing phases.
* Manage and adhere to project timelines for UI development milestones.
* Work closely with the design team to enhance and evolve the design system based on project requirements.
* Develop front-end code that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
* Collaborate with backend developers and D365 experts to ensure a smooth flow of data and functionality.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for optimal performance.
* Conduct regular code reviews and optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.
* Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable for the broader project team.
* Propose innovative solutions and improvements to enhance the overall service transformation project.
Specialist / Technical Expertise
* Proven experience with Microsoft Power Apps Portals/Pages and integration of front-end components with Portal
* Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI development skills and creating reusable components
* Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid Templates and relevant front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
* Proven experience with creating and managing Power Apps Flow
* Proven experience in front end development, including CSS, liquid templates and JavaScript
* Proven experience with Dataverse and data modeling
* Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and security roles
* Ability to integrate with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Familiarity with design systems and the ability to implement and maintain them
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and development tools
