Relight Your Care is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our friendly team, supporting NDIS participants to maintain safe, clean, and comfortable homes. Position Details
* Job Title: Cleaner (NDIS / Disability Support – Household Tasks)
* Employment Type: Casual or part-time (with potential for ongoing regular shifts)
* Location: Participant homes in Geelong and surrounding suburbs
* Hours: Flexible, generally Monday–Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general house cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
* Conduct window cleaning and deep cleaning tasks as requested.
* Maintain hygienic and safe environments, including disinfecting high-touch areas and following infection control practices.
* Assist with household tasks such as changing bed linen, laundry, and basic tidying and organising.
* Follow client-specific cleaning plans while respecting cultural preferences and privacy.
* Report hazards, maintenance issues, or concerns promptly and complete shift notes or records.
Skills and Requirements
* Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience (NDIS or aged care experience highly regarded).
* Ability to perform window cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
* Strong attention to detail, good time management, and ability to work independently.
* Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks including bending, lifting light items, and standing for most of the shift.
* Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with insurance.
* Respectful, professional communication and a genuine commitment to supporting people with disability.
