About the Role:
We are seeking a Support Professional to join our team, providing support services to clients on a weekly basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive client experience, adhering to NDIS compliance requirements, and maintaining a firm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management, and Quality and Safeguards practice standards.
Key responsibilities include handling client issues/incident reporting in a timely and professional manner, understanding client NDIS Plans, goals, and Care Plans, and providing personal care, manual handling, and medication administration.
Additionally, the Support Professional will transport clients to appointments and community access as required, support a client-centric culture, and contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid NDIS screening check;
* Background or experience in nursing or aged care;
* Evidence of experience in the disability sector and NDIS;
* Fluent and strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Current First Aid & CPR certification;
* A valid driver's licence and your own car with comprehensive insurance;
* A current Police Check; and
* A Working With Children Check.

The ideal candidate will possess well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, an out-going, positive, and interactive attitude, initiative to advocate for clients, flexibility, and adaptability in challenging situations, and the ability to organise and action daily tasks and schedules.
