Position
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/ or equivalent or higher qualifications
* Experience working in a commercial cooking environment such as an Aged Care Facility or Hospital will be highly regarded.
* Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people
* Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English
* Current Covid and Flu Vaccination Records would be advantageous
* Successful Applicants will be required to obtain a Current NDIS Clearance Certificate
* Successful candidates must have the capacity to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
* Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
* Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
* Be part of a team in a family-focused organisation dedicated to supporting our aging population

* Must be available to work 06:30am - 14:30pm and/or 13:30pm - 20:30pm shifts
