About The Team
The People and Culture Delivery team are responsible for the delivery of HR business partnering across all departments of the City. These services are delivered by two teams – City Workforce Services, which provides a broad range of HR generalist support across the employee life cycle and is an embedded in the business, and the HR Business Partner Team who deliver professional and contemporary advisory/consultancy service toachieve people management objectives.
About Your New Role
If you are at the beginning of your HR career or an experienced HR Business Partner we have opportunities available Applicants deemed suitable may be placed in a talent pool for current and future HR opportunities across various classifications and specialisations.
Our City Workforce Officers (Level 5) provide front line HR generalist advice across the employee lifecycle as an embedded resource contributing to the day to day operation of achieving people objectives. You will assist with local level workforce planning, work collaboratively with all functions with the Chief People Office to provide support to Learning and Development, Recruitment, Payroll and HR Operations. Our Senior HR Business Partners (Level 7), through a partnership model, provide high level support, advice and coaching to leaders and employees to facilitate local level resolution of people matters and enable leaders to grow their capability to effectively fulfil their people leadership responsibilities and develop a positive working culture. Additionally, the HRBP provides expert advice in areas of employee engagement and wellbeing, workforce planning, change management and performance management. We're Looking For People Who Have
* Associate degree / Diploma in Human Resources and/or relevant knowledge and experience
* Thrive on supporting and guiding employees and managers through people management process and practices
