The projects primarily involve synchronized condenser initiatives, Statcom projects, and substantial HVDC projects in Australia and New Zealand.
You will report to your Technical Project Manager/Director and be accountable for managing engineering work packages aligned with project and business objectives.
* Deliver 'Primary Equipment' project scope on time, within budget, and meeting safety, quality, performance, and schedule requirements.
* Coordinate between Primary design, test, and manufacture functions to produce a robust and reliable electrical design and engineering package.
* Prepare offers and manage project delivery of primary and auxiliary electrical systems regarding schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
* Manage the transmission equipment offer/order processing team and coordinate with project management, project leads, and experts from software, hardware, and test planning fields.
* Plan, monitor, and control offer/order processing including technical conception, scope delimitation, scheduling/resource planning, costing, calculation, quality control, and management of opportunities and risks.
* Report, manage information, revise, and complete orders as well as implement process and design reviews.
* Be flexible with workplace location during design phase (office-based), procurement phase (travel to suppliers or customers), and installation phase (site-based).
You will work on complex technical projects and lead multidisciplinary teams in international projects as a project manager.
