We have a 12 month secondment opportunity available for someone to join our Finance & Advice team as a Systems Analyst in Brisbane or Sydney.
In this role, you will provide essential support to finance systems and processes that enable the broader Finance & Advice community. You'll assist with system management, governance, and user access, working collaboratively across teams to help ensure efficient and compliant finance operations.
What You'll Do
* Support the ongoing maintenance, governance, and configuration of Finance Systems including Oracle General Ledger.
* Manage and resolve system support requests and incidents through established channels, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
* Administer user access and permissions for external bank accounts, performing regular reviews to maintain compliance.
* Assist with system-related projects, including user training and testing of changes.
* Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to support finance operations and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years experience in finance or systems accounting roles within financial services, preferably insurance.
* Working knowledge of Oracle General Ledger technology.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills – confident in both written and verbal interactions with diverse stakeholders.
* Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Commitment to compliance, governance, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
* Adaptability to change and a positive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
* Business, Finance or Accounting degree (desired).
