Your primary focus will be on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, ensuring their effective operation and security. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining system health across various Linux and Windows servers, and supporting internal customers.You will:Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems in an operational technology environmentApply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changesMaintain security controls, monitor for threats, and detect any security issuesDevelop and maintain constructive working relationships with team members and key stakeholders across PowerlinkCoordinate and lead fault management processes to ensure network management systems are highly available and resilientSupport the coordination and implementation of new technology and projects as requiredWhat you'll bring:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Information TechnologyYour strong background in Linux/UNIX-based operating systems, virtual environments, and Windows Active Directory will be essential. You should have a passion for problem-solving and be adept at managing fault processes effectively.Additionally, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of security principles as applied to an operational technology environment. Your ability to diagnose and resolve faults, as well as conduct thorough root cause analysis, will be crucial.While experience in designing, supporting, and integrating operational technologies is desirable, it is not mandatory.
