We are seeking an experienced, compassionate fundraiser to join our committed and values-driven team.
about the role
The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager is responsible for driving sustainable income growth for the St Vincent de Paul Society Tasmania through relationship-based fundraising.
The role focuses on building and stewarding long-term relationships with donors, corporate partners and philanthropic stakeholders, while strengthening the Society's bequest pipeline and regular giving base.
A genuine commitment to supporter care and community impact, alongside a strategic and outcomes-driven mindset, is key to this role.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring a consistent, values-led supporter experience that reflects the Vincentian spirit of compassion, dignity and respect, deepens engagement, and contributes to the long-term sustainability of services supporting Tasmanians in need.
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor management or partnerships, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
* Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful, long-term stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in major gifts, bequests or relationship-based fundraising approaches.
* Strong analytical and data management skills.
* Exceptional and adaptable communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Understanding of community needs and relevant challenges.
* Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities, adapting as required.
* A can-do attitude and commitment to the values and mission of St Vincent de Paul Society.
* Knowledge of and willingness to further learn about social justice issues.
* Strong commitment to confidentiality.
* Ability to build, foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders and other like-minded organisations.
* Willingness to participate in events and the management of, attending, and representing The Society.
* Motivation to be part of the greater Society Team and collaborate appropriately.
The successful applicant must hold a current compliant National Police Check, along with a valid Working with Vulnerable People Card or the ability to obtain. You must also hold a Driver's Licence with no restrictions.
