About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reception services, coordinating appointments, and working in all areas of administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide reception services including the management of enquiries
* Coordinate and schedule appointments and use computer-based systems with expertise for data entry, word processing and spreadsheets where required
* Work in all areas of administration including Reception, Bookings, Finance, Medical Records and Ward
* Undertake other administrative duties as required by the Director of Nursing which include meeting secretariate duties as required
* Provision of a quality client service and administrative support, including communicating, liaising, and negotiating with staff, clients, carers, and internal and external agencies as required in a confidential, courteous, timely and professional manner
* Maintain harmonious and productive work relationships and contribute towards being a team member whilst working within an interdisciplinary team
* Provide administrative support for the Director of Nursing, Medical Superintendent and visiting services, community programs and projects as directed
About You
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication skills. While a Certificate or Diploma in Government or Office Administration would be highly regarded, experience in a similar role is also considered essential.
