The Role:
Process, negotiate and purchase goods and services as required by the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and associated Agencies within the Southern Region of Tasmania.

Process, negotiate and purchase goods and services as required by the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and associated Agencies within the Southern Region of Tasmania.
Assist in the receiving store with receiving and distribution of goods and other stores related functions, on a rotational basis and as required.
You will need to:
* Generate purchase orders using the Agency's Finance 1 Supply Module, from duly authorised requisitions and/or other documented instructions, for the procurement of goods and services for the RHH and associated Operational Units of the Southern Region, adhering to established Agency and Treasury and Finance guidelines, policies and procedures, with particular reference to the Treasurers Instructions & Contract Review Committee Guidelines.
* Catalogue items appropriately for effective maintenance of the Statewide Supply Catalogue utilising the Agency's Finance 1 Supply (Inventory) Module.
* Consult and liaise with supplier representatives, to obtain product information, pricing and competitive quotations to ensure purchased items are both appropriate and cost effective.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
