Our client is a well-established Australian-owned FMCG manufacturer supplying retail, foodservice, and ingredient markets nationally. Operating from a modern production and packaging facility, they are seeking a Senior Production Planner to drive performance across planning and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage daily, weekly, and medium-term production schedules
* Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans to minimise disruptions
* Align closely with production, maintenance, procurement, and quality teams
* Lead planning inputs into S&OP and inventory targets
* Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and reporting
* Prepare and present performance metrics including DIFOT and service levels
* Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven FMCG production planning experience (finished goods environment)
* Strong MRP/ERP system knowledge
* Solid understanding of manufacturing capacity and material planning
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
* Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
* Confident communicator with cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills
* Leadership experience managing or mentoring a team (preferred)
