**About the Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity exists at Monash Health for Dental Assistants interested in joining the casual bank. We are a busy and dynamic service, with 30 dental chairs located across seven sites in the Cities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Kingston and the Shire of Cardinia. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to accept available shifts across all sites and be part of a busy, energetic and friendly dental team.

As Monash Health employee, you will have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, visitors and colleagues enabling you to deliver exceptional care.

**About You**

You are an experienced Dental Assistant with a strong focus on patient centres care. Through your hard working and enthusiastic nature you have the ability to adapt to changing settings and work shifts that suit your lifestyle. You will be the first point of contact both over the phone and face to face with patients so your presentation and communication will be a key to your success. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Clinical chair side assistance
- Maintain infection control standards
- Preparing, maintaining, and managing the clinical environment, including equipment, materials, and instruments, in line with the treatment plan, to enhance efficient patient care.
- Undertake relevant administrative duties

**What You Need to Have**

To be considered for this important role you will ideally possess the following:

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
- Good organisational skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work
- A full understanding of infection control procedures and tracking systems
- Thorough and extensive knowledge of dental procedures
- A friendly, outgoing and reliable demeanour
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Well-developed clinical and administrative skills
- Previous experience with Titanium software would be an advantage but is not mandatory

Monash Health Bureau (MHB) is an efficient workforce unit that allocates over 450 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre and Monash Children's. We deliver experienced clinical and clinical support staff to meet the demands of multi specialised and fast growing organisation.
