Formal Qualifications

* Advanced Scaffolding (mandatory)
* Certificate in Scaffolding Inspection (or equivalent)
* Advanced Rigging (advantageous)
* IRATA Rope Access Level 3 (advantageous)
* Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Testing Atmospheres (GTA), and White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Skills and Technical Competencies

* Strong communication skills (both verbal & written)
* Risk management capability and practical application of safety standards
* Effective time management and prioritisation skills
* Knowledge of warehouse processes and material control systems
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Solid understanding of scaffolding equipment, systems, and operational procedures
* Strong HSE knowledge, including legislated responsibilities and compliance
* Conflict management and resolution techniques
* Awareness of employee and industrial relations matters

Experience

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a scaffolding inspection role
* Recent experience in refinery, shutdown, or oil & gas projects

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Conduct inspections and site supervision of scaffold erection, re-erection, modification, and dismantling activities
* Coordinate with the execution team to ensure scaffolding work is prioritised and rework is minimised
* Participate in the planning and scheduling of scaffolding works and labour allocation to meet project requirements
* Monitor and manage scaffolding material inventory
* Identify and resolve technical issues that may impact project outcomes
* Track progress against work schedules and budgets
* Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards and legislative requirements are achieved

Quality

* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality systems
* Assist with internal and external quality audits as required
* Ensure accurate updating of scaffolding and asset maintenance records in company systems (e.g., CyberOffice)
* Confirm that all scaffolding modifications are pre-approved and appropriately documented

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

* Comply with all company HSE policies and requirements, maintaining a proactive safety culture
* Identify and report non-compliance issues in line with company procedures
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safe work practices in all work areas

Relationship Management

* Communicate effectively, respectfully, and transparently with all stakeholders
* Represent the company positively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Foster collaboration and teamwork across all departments and disciplines
