As a Graduate Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality managed funds product research to financial advisers and subscribers working alongside experienced senior investment analysts. Over time, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of asset classes, including Australian and Global Equities, Fixed Income, Property, Infrastructure, Alternatives, and Multi Asset portfolios.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis across various asset classes (including Australian Equities, Global Equities, Fixed Interest, Cash and Alternatives)
- Facilitate the coverage initiation of new funds and maintain ongoing coverage of products.
- Develop technical knowledge of products across asset classes, Lonsec processes and house views.
- Assist in report writing and meeting preparation, involving the synthesis of written information and evaluation of product merits.
About You:
- Recent graduate with a focus on financial analysis and industry knowledge.
- Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to distil financial information efficiently and convey it clearly and concisely.
- Proficient quantitative skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Effective organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
- Positive, friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with senior external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable understanding of investments, equities, and ETFs, or a keen interest to acquire such knowledge.
Essential qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline e.g. BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSc
