This includes designing and implementing security improvements, establishing and maturing CERTs/SOCs, and Managed Security Services' SOCs.This position is within our Government division, based in Canberra, requiring substantial client-site presence and a minimum NV2 security clearance, with potential for PV clearance.Implement solutions across people, process, and technology for top-tier Government clients.Engage with clients to understand requirements and design cybersecurity solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including hands-on installation, configuration, integration, testing, and handover.Document delivery processes, share lessons learned, and collaborate to establish best practices and repeatable processes, feeding requirements back to product management.Collaborate with sales, project managers, engineers, and solution architects, and be flexible to travel internationally and nationally to client sites.Develop deep technical knowledge of our Cyber Security product suite and build strong client relationships as the primary technical contact.Architect solutions, providing expert consultancy to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose.Select and tailor engineering processes, coordinate activities among specialists, and develop designs, deliverables, and operational solutions.Lead the development of solution architectures, ensuring they meet specified requirements.Define and manage the solution engineering approach, oversee implementation, and ensure standards and quality are maintained.Manage technical and solution risks, and work to mitigate them early.Estimate costs and delivery times, and retain ownership through delivery and transition phases.Ensure adherence to standards and collaborate with quality and test teams to validate solutions.What we're looking forExperience in building and delivering cybersecurity solutions, integrating systems, and understanding the cyber threat landscape.Knowledge of Cyber Security products, especially Azure and AWS security.Background in SOC design and operation, with experience in SIEM and analytics platforms like Splunk and Sentinel.Engineering experience with configuration control, quality assurance, and design patterns.Ability to advise and lead end users and clients.Excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Strong time management and organizational skills.Attention to detail.Knowledge of ITIL and experience with Service Management systems like ServiceNow.Thought leadership in designing and strategizing advanced cyber defense detection systems.
