Overview
IT Systems Administrator role at Kindred Group plc. The objective of the position is to support the day-to-day operations of internal IT systems, with a focus on endpoint management, device security, and user support. The role involves working with both local and international teams to ensure the IT ecosystem runs efficiently and securely. This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home per week.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of corporate laptops (Windows & MacOS) and mobile devices (iOS & Android) using Microsoft Intune and related tools
* Manage asset inventory and lifecycle tracking for the Sydney office, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets
* Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning devices, with a strong focus on customer service and end-user experience
* Provide operational support and troubleshooting assistance to stakeholders – whether remotely or within the office
* Provide desktop support to stakeholders, including hardware, AV, peripherals, mobile devices, and applications
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation for IT systems, policies, and procedures
* Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed

* Process improvements – Identify and implement efficiency improvements in support workflows
* JIRA hygiene – Ensure tickets are well-documented, tracked, and resolved efficiently
Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
* Tertiary qualification/s in an Information Technology related discipline is highly desirable
* Microsoft certifications are advantageous
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
* Experience supporting and managing Windows and MacOS devices in a corporate environment
* Experience with Windows Autopilot
* Comfortable using Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Insight)
* Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange administration experience
* Strong skills with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
* Understanding of endpoint security concepts, such as Conditional Access, compliance policies, local admin restrictions, and patching
* Experience with asset management tools and endpoint provisioning
* Comfortable working with productivity tools such as O365 suite and Teams
* Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset
* Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Logitech Meeting Room technologies
* Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and ITSM practices
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
* Analytical skills to effectively triage and troubleshoot technical issues
* Highly motivated and able to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies
