- Assist with ensuring the Credit Risk Engine appropriately calculates expected credit losses (collective provisions) and application of credit methodology.
- Maintain, execute and enhance the credit provision calculations.
- Drive automation and process improvements using Snowflake and analytics tools.
- Undertake detailed analytics on provision movements and deliver insight to Management.
- Assess provision adequacy to ensure that Judo is appropriately providing for projected credit deterioration.
- Evaluate current provision methodology to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
- Provide regular internal reporting to Management Board, Risk Committees and the Board.
- Support the Finance/Investor Relations team with key external reporting deliverables.
- Prepare key external credit risk reporting deliverables for stakeholders such as Shareholders, APRA, Rating Agencies and Debt Funders, including regulatory reporting forms.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and challenge the current status quo.
- Support the Head of Portfolio Credit Risk and the broader Credit Risk team's objectives.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working with credit provision models.
- Understanding of AASB 9 accounting standard.
- Experience with analytics tools (Python, R, SQL, Power BI).
- Experience using Snowflake and Confluence, reporting and documentation environments.
- Ability to analyse data and present information that is easy to interpret and digest.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
- Sound knowledge of credit risk management and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated problem solving, particularly related to credit provisioning.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self‑starter with a proven ability to build networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- "Can do attitude" who is willing to challenge current ways of thinking.
