 
        
        Supported Independent Living - Youth Support Worker(SIL) Part-time 
We are looking for a committed individual to join us as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Youth Support Worker on a permanent part-time basis. 
As well as weekdays, you will need to be available and willing to work evening/sleepover shifts on weekends, including Friday and Saturday nights.

About The SIL Program 
T-SIL is a program that is designed to cater to young people aged from 16 years of age in attaining their own residence, and then stepping them through the skills required to maintain independent living including skills including budgeting, maintaining amenities, accessing education and employment opportunities. 
About The Role 
As a youth worker in TSIL, no day is the same and it can vary from attending appointments, assisting the young person to maintain their home, or supporting them to access the community. 
What is on offer? 
- Part-time Employment (30 hour minimum)

Essential Criteria 
- 3 years’ experience working with young people in and ITC and NDIS environment. 
- Completed Diploma of Community Services or equivalent. 
- Demonstrated experience in management and leadership of employees. 
- Demonstrated autonomy when supporting multiple clients. 
- Knowledge of Needs Based Framework, TCI concepts and strategies. 
- Solid knowledge of Allambi Care policies and procedures 
- High level written, communication and time management skills. 
- Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

- Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment - can be obtained via 
- Current NDIS Worker Check: (can be obtained via 
- Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID003) 
- National Police Check (this must be obtained via 
- Drivers License 
- Comprehensively insured vehicle 
- Two professional references
