About Us: Container Exchange (COEX) is the not-for-profit organisation appointed to manage and grow QLD's Containers for Change. Our vision is 'no container goes to waste' and we're committed to driving change for future generations. Since we began in 2018, we've kept more than 10 billion containers out of landfill, returning more than $1 billion in 10-cent refunds to households, charities and community groups. We are proud to be driving a program that delivers positive environmental, social and economic impacts, and we're continuing to invest in innovative solutions that ensure all can access the benefits Containers for Change brings.

The Role: You'll play a key part in helping us grow the Containers for Change scheme by bringing new commercial partners on board. This role is all about conversations people love to have - exploring how businesses can integrate the scheme into their operations and seeing the tangible value it brings through:

* Sustainability leadership - reducing waste and boosting environmental credentials
* Cost savings - offsetting waste management expenses
* Community impact - supporting charities, schools and fundraising initiatives
* Culture & engagement - giving staff and customers a program they feel proud of

In the role you will:

* Identify and secure new commercial partners aligned with COEX's strategic priorities.
* Build and nurture strong relationships across a range of industries and client groups.
* Represent COEX at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
* Provide professional, timely communications and presentations to stakeholders.
* Support reporting, budgeting and partnership optimisation activities.

* Proven experience in business development, account management and/or partnerships.
* Proven success in growing customer accounts and driving growth.
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering results in service delivery settings.
* Exceptional communication and authentic relationship building skills.
* Eligibility to hold a Blue Card.
