The Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our new business efforts. This client-facing role is essential to identifying and converting leads, nurturing referral networks, and seamlessly transitioning new managements into our portfolio. If you have a passion for property and a flair for building trust, this is your chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively source, engage, and convert new leads through appraisals, tailored presentations, and strategic follow-ups.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-through and accurate lead tracking.
* Referral Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key referral channels including sales agents, mortgage brokers, and allied professionals.
* Client Engagement: Provide exceptional service to prospective landlords, guiding them through our offering and building confidence in our expertise.
* Onboarding & Handover: Facilitate smooth transitions for new clients by coordinating comprehensive handovers with our property management team.
* Reporting & Insights: Keep detailed records of activities, track conversion metrics, and provide performance insights to leadership.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to drive smarter strategies.
* Brand Advocacy: Represent our brand with professionalism at networking events, industry functions, and within the community.
What We're Looking For

* Property Management license and qualifications is preferable but not essential.
* A background in business development, real estate sales, or property management will be highly favorable.
* Current driver's license and a reliable car.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* An understanding of the property management process.
* Natural relationship-building ability with both clients and referral partners.
* Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
* Self-starter mindset with a focus on results and growth.
* Experience using CRM platforms and lead tracking tools is highly regarded.
* Great energy and a high level of empathy.
* Attention to detail and precision.
