Role Overview
This is a key hands-on role providing accounting leadership and stability during a transition period.
You will manage core accounting operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial controls.
The position is offered as an 8-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full rebates lifecycle, creation, rollover, settlement, and monthly reporting
* Deliver accurate and timely month-end results, including accruals, reconciliations, and journals
* Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards, and support audit and tax processes
Requirements
* CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) with 3+ years' accounting experience
* Proven SAP and rebate accounting experience is essential
* Experience in a multinational or FMCG environment preferred
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills
