**Project Officer - Return to Work & Compensation Job Description:**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Officer and support the Return to Work and Compensation team in managing complex workers' compensation claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting workplaces in maintaining safe environments and ensuring compliance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation (WIRC) Act 2013.
Main Duties:
* Claim Support: Provide support to workplaces in managing workers' compensation claims, including identifying and resolving challenges.
* Payroll Support: Assist with payroll administration, including reviewing payroll data to ensure injured workers receive correct payments.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in line with legislative, information security, and privacy requirements.
**Key Requirements:**
* A strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with experience in payroll administration and Workers' Compensation support.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and HR policies.
* Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and support managers.
