About the role
We're looking for a driven sales professional ready to make an impact in a high-growth FinTech company. As a Account Executive at Zone, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion—winning new business, deepening client partnerships, and delivering powerful payroll solutions built on innovation. You'll have the autonomy to build a robust pipeline, close high-value deals, and exceed ambitious ARR goals while working with a team that values ownership, agility, and excellence.
What you'd do
Apply disciplined strategic selling techniques to uncover deeper client pain points, map decision-making structures, and accelerate deal progression
Align complex product solutions with multi-level stakeholder challenges, leveraging a consultative, insight-driven approach
Craft and execute high-impact sales strategies that reflect company objectives and adapt to evolving market dynamics
Drive revenue growth through innovative sales tactics, proactive prospecting, and consistent pipeline generation
Deliver precise monthly and quarterly forecasting to the Regional VP and CRO, supporting informed leadership decision-making
Maintain rigorous sales hygiene within SFDC CRM to ensure opportunity visibility, organizational collaboration, and accurate reporting
Identify, nurture, and expand strategic partnerships with Partner & Alliance teams to broaden market reach and accelerate revenue
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment and client success
Act as the voice of the customer, providing actionable insights to influence product roadmap and enhancements
Build trusted client relationships through high emotional intelligence, responsiveness, and credibility across all levels
Navigate complex organizational structures to engage key stakeholders and secure consensus on solutions
Leverage data-driven insights and sales analytics to refine territory strategies and optimize account engagement
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by anticipating evolving client needs and delivering tailored solutions
Demonstrate resilience and persistence in overcoming objections while maintaining positive, solution-focused client interactions
Strategically prioritize opportunities to maximize revenue impact and efficiently manage time across accounts
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business challenges into actionable, value-driven solutions
Monitor payroll trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge
Mentor peers by sharing best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative success
Uphold the highest ethical standards in all client interactions, reinforcing the company's reputation and trustworthiness

What you'll need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
4+ years of consistently exceeding net new, annual ARR quotas of $1M+ in a fast-growing SaaS organization, preferably in net new business roles targeting upper/mid-market accounts
Proven experience selling to the Office of the CFO, payroll software, is a plus
Demonstrated track record of creating new opportunities, generating direct pipeline, and consistently exceeding quota attainment
Deep experience leveraging structured sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC, with a disciplined approach to qualification and opportunity management
Expertise in aligning technology solutions to complex, multi-stakeholder business challenges and applying strategic thinking to solve critical customer issues
Experience engaging and influencing Finance C-Suite executives with consultative, insight-driven conversations
Strong understanding of SaaS products, financial technology, and the competitive landscape
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence to navigate complex client environments
Hunter mentality with persistence, resilience, and proactive approach to new business development
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment while maintaining focus and accountability
Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, and other sales enablement and analytics tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and strategic account engagements
