We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse who will be working in a supportive environment where expertise and empathy are valued and rewarded.
This role involves applying clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of the aging process to residents within our home. Tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs and being responsive to resident's care is also key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Applying clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of the aging process
* Tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs and being responsive to resident's care
* Respecting and promoting dignity, privacy, and confidentiality of each resident at all times
* Systematically planning, implementing, and evaluating accurate and timely documentation
* Spend time with residents to connect, share stories, and show empathy
Requirements:
* A completed Diploma of nursing or equivalent with current AHPRA Div 2 as Enrolled Nurse
* Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
* An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
* The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect
* Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
