Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a self rated four star low-rise property situated on eleven acres of award winning tropical gardens. The Resort has 345 rooms with 2 restaurants and bars, 3 swimming pools and a fully equipped Conference Centre.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commis Chef to work in our kitchens. Part Time role, but may lead to Full Time role. Commercial Cookery Certificate and RSA a requirement. Role includes mainly Dinner shifts, No Split Shifts. Additional hours available depending on business demands.
The successful applicant will display:

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and produce excellent food in a fast paced environment
Minimum 4 years previous experience
Proven knowledge and experience in all aspects of kitchen operations
MUST have excellent customer service skills
Hold an Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma, OR have at least three years of relevant experience
