ICT & Projects Specialist – PKKP Aboriginal Corporation
Perth-based with regular travel to Karratha
Lead ICT and data transformation in an organisation reshaping how cultural preservation and governance are delivered.
PKKP Aboriginal Corporation has recently signed the first Co-Management Agreement of its kind, marking a significant step in how Traditional Owners partner with industry and government to protect culture, Country, and community interests. This agreement reflects PKKP's ambition: to place culture first, supported by strong governance, strong systems, and a clear understanding of the business landscape in which we operate.
As PKKP continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT & Projects Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Perth, with regular travel to Karratha as required, and plays a critical role in delivering the digital foundations that support PKKP's work across heritage, land management, partnerships, and governance.
This is a front-line, hands-on role during a period of organisational growth. It requires an all-hands-on-deck mindset and offers a genuine development opportunity for someone looking to deepen their ICT experience within a broader business, governance, and cultural environment.
We recognise that we cannot reach our ambitions without the ongoing development of our people. The growth of this role, and of our broader team, is essential to PKKP's success. For that reason, this position attracts $10,000 per annum in professional development, supporting your technical, professional, and leadership growth.
Working alongside archaeologists, anthropologists, rangers, and corporate professionals, you will help build systems that support PKKP's 3-year and 10-year vision for self-determination, with exposure to governance and decision-making at regional, state, and international levels.

You'll:
* Provide reliable, front-line technical support across hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Manage and maintain core ICT platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure, supporting secure and modern digital environments.
* Assist with infrastructure administration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management for servers, devices, and network systems.
* Strengthen cybersecurity and compliance, supporting frameworks such as Essential 8 and ISO 27001.
* Support PKKP's growing data capability by maintaining accurate datasets and assisting with reports and dashboards in Power BI.
* Manage ICT assets, device provisioning, and small procurements, keeping records accurate and up to date.
* Deliver responsive user support and assist with onboarding and system access for staff across multiple locations.
* Build digital confidence across the organisation through guidance, training, and practical, approachable support.
* Contribute to ICT and digital transformation projects identified in PKKP's ICT Roadmap.
* Work closely with the Director ICT and broader teams to deliver technology solutions that are secure, practical, and culturally respectful.
