Continuing Airworthiness Management

* Length of Contract: 12 months (2 years extension options)

Essential Criteria
* Provide Apache technical DASR M support to the Deputy CAM to ensure Continuing Airworthiness Management activities are managed, conducted and governed in accordance with the requirements of the DASR and CAME
* Provide technical advice and reporting on the application of DASR GR.80 Flexibility Provisions in light of the Apache capability intent to employ foreign maintenance personnel (Maintenance Augmentation Team, MAT) in the conduct of maintenance for the platform.
* Liaise with DASA and other stakeholders in the assessment of the implementation strategies such as the employment of Foreign Maintainers.
* Liaise with the Defence Enterprise Resource Program stakeholders in assessing integration methods for the Apache program's Maintenance Management System (CAMM2 in the immediate term with Aircraft Notebook, ACN in the future).
* Provide awareness to the CAMO OPSO in their daily oversight of Apache aircraft for all matters relating to Continuing Airworthiness Management.
* Provide oversight of the Asset Reception activities and ensuring the CAMO obligations are met to enable the CAM attestation for the introduction of specific aircraft to service.
* Provide Apache subject matter expertise to various Aviation Capability forums, including, but not limited to:
* o Apache Integrated Program Management Teams & Boards
* o Army Aviation Safety Program Committee
* o Airworthiness Boards
* o Weapon System Review Committees
* o Reliability Program Review Board
* o Quality System Review
* o Technical System Safety Boards
* Review Configuration Control Board data and advise the CAM on suitability of proposed decisions or their delegations.
* Conduct reviews of Reliability Program data and provide advice on amendments to the AMP and suitability of alert levels.
* Provide regular engagement to the Apache continuing airworthiness management service providers and Capability Managers, including but not limited to:
* o Continuing Airworthiness Management – Services Organisations
* o DASR 145 Maintenance Organisations
* o CAMO Responsible Managers
* o Directorate of Aviation Capability Management
* o Aviation Branch Sustainment and Supply section
* o Aviation Branch Safety Section
* Hold and maintain a negative vetting level 1 security clearance (or above)
* Demonstrate behaviours to manage and control sensitive information
* Demonstrate behaviours to cultivate productive working relationships
* Have experience in operating at a DASR 145 organisation
* Have proficient understanding of DASR-M, DASR-147 and DASR-66 regulations
* Hold a relevant Engineering degree or Aircraft Artificer qualification, preferably with CPEng, CEngT or CEngA qualifications.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in Commonwealth Introduction to Service Processes
* Experience in working within the Australian Army Aviation capability.
* Held a DASA Airworthiness Review Form 4 qualification
* A relevant engineering degree or Aircraft Artificer qualifications
* CAT C MAML with ARH or Apache
* Been a DASR 145 RM or held RM delegations
* Completed the following courses:
* o DASR M Practitioner
* o Airworthiness Review Practitioner
* o A System Manager's Course or Type Rating
