THE ROLE
Location
To be able to offer our customers 10 + weeks of continuous supply of the highest quality cherries, we have multiple farms spread across 3 growing regions This role is based at our Head Office in Yarck, in Victoria's beautiful Goulburn Valley region.
Our 70 permanent full-time staff usually reside in country towns within a 40 minute commute to Yarck including Mansfield, Eildon, Euroa, Alexandra, Yea and Seymour.
The role requires attendance in Yarck where our packhouse is also located for the successful co-ordination of our online sales and the order fulfilment component of the role.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We're seeking a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of our online sales and digital presence while connecting marketing activity directly to real product availability and customer experience. This role blends e-commerce, content creation and operational coordination and is a rare opportunity to impact both commercial and brand outcomes in a rapidly growing business.
You'll manage the online sales platform, coordinate campaigns, develop social and website content, analyse performance and respond to customer enquiries. Working closely with operations, you'll align promotions with harvest volumes, manage delivery scheduling and ensure customers receive the quality experience our brand promises.
You'll also create authentic orchard-to-consumer storytelling through photography and video, coordinate creative agencies, support sales teams with promotional material and maintain our digital asset library. We're particularly interested in candidates who enjoy using AI tools to improve efficiency and marketing effectiveness.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:
· Support sales team with development and production of promotional material
· Be the primary contact for online sales enquiries
· Manage orders and schedule deliveries for online sales
· Co-ordinate with the creative agencies engaged by Koala Cherries
· Co-ordinate digital content for website, social media and digital advertising
· Manage Koala's library of digital marketing assets
· Manage Koala Cherries' social media plan
· Capture relevant imagery and footage from orchards and packing shed
· Provide support to Marketing Manager
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Online sales support
· Take ownership of the Australian online sales platform, monitoring sales and developing strategies to grow
· Develop social media posts, online campaigns and website content that increase online sales of Koala Cherries
· Anticipate, address, and resolve any online sales user-experience or fulfilment issues, utilising internal and external resources as necessary
· Identify ways to improve customer experience
Online order scheduling and fulfilment
· Work with operations to ensure quality and volume is available to fulfil orders
· Set and adjust online sales limits according to availability
· Ensure delivery schedule matches availability and make adjustments as required.
· Work closely with online sales packing line manager to ensure packaging and fruit quality meet customer expectation
Digital Strategy
· Coordinate with digital strategist to develop campaigns that to increase sales
· Develop and monitor advertising budget
· Analyse advertising effectiveness and recommend modifications to strategy
Content creation and curation
· Take ownership of the social media and posting plan
· Prepare posts according to agreed plan, curating content, writing copy, posting, and responding
· Develop social media campaigns that grow customer engagement
· Evaluate social media analytics and sales performance and provide weekly and/or monthly updates as required
· Recommend changes to the post plan according to insights gained from analytics and internal and external advisors
Digital marketing assets library
· Develop photographic and video content suitable for Koala social media, website and other promotional applications.
· Manage Koala digital asset library
· Build knowledge of the cherry consumer and market that will inform future content creation
· Build internal relationships that facilitate the creation of videos that are compelling to current and future cherry consumers
Marketing support
· Brief and co-ordinate creative agencies to produce compelling instore promotional material as required by our sales team, retailers and selling agents in Australia and international markets
· Provide basic graphic design and copywriting in-house support solutions including marketing collateral, digital presentations, press releases, social media, and website modifications.
· Monitor communication and promotional strategies by other suppliers and organisations that may be relevant to Koala.
Artificial Intelligence
· Identify areas where AI can be applied in the various marketing tasks that will reduce cost or increase efficiency and effectiveness

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing / Communications / Design / Digital Strategy or related disciplines
* Experience managing and growing an online sales platform
* Experience developing, implementing and reporting on digital advertising strategy
* Excellent skills in customer service
* Ability to plan and create content for social media and online advertising
* Understanding of key metrics and drivers for social media
* Skilled in using main graphic design software - Canva, Adobe
* Excellent written communication and copy writing skills
* Understanding of AI applications in marketing
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in a diverse rural workplace
