Employment type:Fixed term until June ****, Full-time (1.0 FTE) or Part-time (0.6 FTE - Flexible).
Position level:Higher Education Officer Level 5.
Location:Bedford Park / Kaurna Country, South Australia.
Overview
The National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) is an internationally recognised research centre that works as a catalyst for change in the alcohol and other drugs field.
As part of the College of Medicine and Public Health within Flinders University, NCETA focuses on reducing harms from alcohol and other drugs through prevention, treatment and especially workforce development.
As a Research Assistant you will support a range of research projects, helping to design studies, collect and analyse data, and disseminate findings through reports, presentations and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing research protocols, ethics applications and project materials.
Support data collection and management, including conducting interviews and maintaining databases.
Contribute to the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and prepare research outputs.
Help communicate and disseminate findings via reports, presentations and digital channels.
Qualifications
Degree in psychology, public health or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
Strong writing, communication and organisational skills.
Experience in public health research and data analysis.
Proficiency in MS Office, SPSS, NVivo and EndNote.
