Join EY and contribute to building a better working world.The OpportunityThe EY Entity Compliance and Governance (ECG) team assists client legal departments with designing, implementing, and operating entity compliance and governance systems. We ensure clients meet legislative and regulatory requirements, providing legal and administrative support to their boards of directors.As our Manager - Corporate Secretarial, you’ll offer technical expertise, compliance services, and advice to private, public listed, and non-listed clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery within our operational standards.This role is based in our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney, with potential flexible working arrangements. Please discuss options with us.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage client relationships, providing advisory services on governance, technical support, and board support.Coordinate responses to regulatory queries related to Corporate Secretariat matters.Manage and mentor junior staff, providing ongoing technical guidance and contributing to training.Support business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate Secretarial services, either in-house or in a legal or professional services firm.Experience in transactional secretarial support, including attending and minuting meetings, drafting resolutions, and registering companies and branches.Proficiency with corporate secretarial databases and platforms like Diligent, CAS360, GEMS, etc.Ideal candidates will also have:Governance Institute of Australia qualification or tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, or related fields.Deep knowledge of the Corporations Act and corporate governance principles.Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive approach.Leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.What We OfferCareer development opportunities with future-focused skills and experiences.Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Comprehensive benefits, including wellness incentives, flex leave, parental leave, and more.Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and skills.Additional InformationWe acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia and pay respects to their cultures and elders.
