Job Title: Banquet Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Banquet Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of banquet events while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown of events.
* Lead, train, and motivate the banquet staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to ensure seamless coordination of banquet activities.
* Conduct pre-event meetings with clients and event coordinators to review details and address special requests.
* Manage inventory control of banquet supplies and equipment, assisting with ordering and restocking as needed.
* Monitor service quality during events and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff.
* Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel and brand standards.
* Maintain accurate records of event logistics, including guest counts, setup requirements, and special requests.
* Assist with billing and event settlement at the conclusion of events.
* Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Proven supervisory experience in banquet operations or a similar hospitality role.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to remain calm under pressure.
* Superior time management and organizational skills.
* Flexibility to work across various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* In-depth knowledge of banquet operations and event management.
* Thorough understanding of food and beverage service standards.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of local customs and etiquette in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (preferred).
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
