Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facility Manager located in East Mackay, QLD. The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our aged care facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to its residents. Responsibilities include coordinating facility maintenance, managing staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment for residents and team members. The role requires effective resource management, excellent leadership, safety protocol adherence, and active communication with staff, residents, and their families.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in operational management, resource planning, and financial management
* Knowledge of healthcare and aged care regulations, compliance requirements, and safety protocols
* Problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field
* Prior experience in aged care or residential facility management is highly regarded
