The Role
We're partnering with a high-profile Federal Government law enforcement agency to secure a Senior Technical Business Analyst (EL1 equivalent) for a critical national capability program.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a mission-critical platform supporting public safety across Australia, with long-term roadmap investment and strong extension potential.
You'll play a key role in the enhancement and sustainment of a complex, long-standing national system, working closely with developers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to drive outcomes across multiple initiatives.
Key focus areas include:
* Requirements gathering and translation for ICT builds
* Supporting development teams with technical interpretation
* System enhancements and UI improvements
* Data quality and business intelligence capability uplift
* Contributing to future-state capability and architecture direction
This is a hands-on, embedded role within a highly specialised team environment.
What You'll Bring
* Strong experience in ICT Business Analysis (technical focus)
* Proven ability to work across Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
* Experience bridging business and technical teams
* Ability to operate in complex, legacy-heavy environments
* Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Bonus
* Exposure to government or regulated environments
* Project delivery or leadership experience
* Must be Australian Citizen
* Must be able to obtain NV1 Security Clearance
* Location: ACT or Melbourne (Docklands)
* Work type: Hybrid (initial onsite requirement)
* Start: July 2026
* Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12 month extensions
* Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
