**About the Role**
**To be eligible for this position you will require**:
- Current engagement as a parent participating in the HIPPY program or a parent that has participated in the HIPPY program within the last 12 months.
- Willing to commit to working within the HIPPY program for a two-year duration.
- Willing and able to carry out work in the community and in the homes of families.
- Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence.
- Ability to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
**Desirable**
- An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and societies and the issues which impact upon them in contemporary society together with a commitment to culturally appropriate engagement and practice.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $38.08 to $40.46 plus superannuation in line with level 2 of our Enterprise Agreement (dependent on qualifications and experience). You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits.
