We are seeking a reliable and motivated casual cleaner to join our team at Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS).
The purpose of this position is to undertake the daily cleaning of our GLAMS buildings, which requires you to work between 6am to 9pm each weekday.
Note: This is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Identified Position authorised by Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, NSW
Key Requirements:
* Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander with ability to provide proof of Aboriginality (mandatory),
* Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard
* Ensure all areas are maintained in line with site requirements
* Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
* Follow schedules for general, periodical, and emergency cleaning
* Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
* Current National Criminal History Check
* Current NSW Working with Children's Check
* A current Class C or P1/P2 driver's license
Desirable:
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
* Understanding of safe chemical use and workplace OHS requirements
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Good communication skills
