About the Role
The Planning Technical Officer will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning and development services to support the growth and sustainability of our community.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing land use planning strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of planning applications, approvals, and decisions.
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Liaising with external stakeholders, such as developers, architects, and other government agencies, to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.
* Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure effective delivery of planning services.
Essential Requirements
