What You'll Be Doing
You will complete a Certificate III in Scaffolding over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on‑the‑job experience with Zeal Futures and Pipeline Scaffolding.
Throughout your formal training and on‑the‑job experience, you will have the opportunity to:
* Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the workshop, including the movement and storage of scaffolding materials and general housekeeping duties.
* Participate in the safe and efficient movement of scaffolding materials, both in the workshop and on‑site, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
* Assist qualified scaffolders in all aspects of scaffolding work, including the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
* Learn and utilise hand tools and battery‑operated power tools effectively and safely.
What You'll Bring To The Table
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* Basic literacy and computer skills.
* Commitment to the full term of the traineeship and study requirements.
* Current drivers licence (P1 or higher at commencement of the traineeship).
* WHS Construction Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain.
* Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical, including audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening and functional capacity assessment.
