Job Title: Project Support Specialist
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to project managers and teams across various work packages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secretariat Services: Provide administrative support to governance groups, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
* Financial Management: Assist with program/project financials, including actuals, accruals, journals, forecasting, invoicing, and timesheets.
* Risk and Issue Identification: Document, review, and escalate risks and issues as necessary to ensure project success.
* Reporting and Analysis: Assist with program/project management reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* General Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks and team support, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of IM/ICT Project Life Cycle: Have a solid understanding of the IM/ICT project life cycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
* Secretariat Skills: Demonstrate ability in secretariat services, including documentation, coordination, and communication.
* Financial Management: Assist in program/project financial management, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Maintenance of Program Files: Maintain program files and prepare management reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Digital Solutions Delivery Branch is Queensland Health's partner for digital health project delivery excellence. It includes three units: Digital Infrastructure Programs, Digital Health and Business Solutions, and Project Services.
This role supports the branch's core function, ensuring successful delivery of major IT projects and initiatives to customers across Queensland Health.
