**Gym Receptionist**
Cheer N Dance Athletics (Formally Cheer N Dance Bendigo) is a Cheerleading, Dance, Tumbling and Ballet Gym located in two gym locations, Bendigo (Vic), 1.5 hours north of Melbourne and Ballina (NSW), 1 hour south of Gold Coast. Currently in a high growth phase, we operate 5 days per week and service around 450 athletes weekly. Having been in operation for 17 years, our focus now is rapid growth, performance measured programs and a high quality culture that results in being a gym of choice for both athletes, families and employees.
Based at the Bendigo Gym and reporting directly to the General Manager, a Gym Receptionist is responsible for providing positive and supportive customer experiences whilst driving the organisations key business outcomes from an operations perspective. Working closely with the greater Cheer N Dance Athletics administration team, across multiple locations, this position requires a high level of communication and collaboration as well as understanding the organisations services, products and people.
**Roles and responsibilities**
- All data entry completed on time and 100% accurate
- Greet athletes, families and customers upon entry to the facility.
- Open, Close and Balance the companies cash registers daily.
- Effectively communicate relevant company (including Gym) policies to athletes and where to find them. Be accurate and concise with this information.
- Accurate notes are to be added to the CRM and Gym Management Software where appropriate
- Always look for opportunities to save customers from cancelling enrolments and seek further approval if necessary
- Actively contribute to achieving the organisation's monthly budget
- Always aiming to provide a positive customer experience and find a positive and workable solutions to customer problems or resistance
- Customer issues are resolved as promptly as possible, in line with company policies
- Handle all customer inquiries and concerns in a prompt and helpful manner
- Ensure quality appearance of the gym at all times, including cleanliness of reception area and gym floor, internal signage, staff dress code and OH & S
- Restock drinks and cafe items
- Check mail regularly and forward any invoices or receipts onto the Financial Officer
- Relay all Customer feedback to your manager
- Clear understanding of the requirements of the position and the expectations of the business
- Compliance with all legislation and policy
- Adhere to set monthly rosters
- Follow the dress code standards and ensure uniform is always clean, ironed and in good condition
- Attend all training and team meetings where communicated
- Administer First Aid in line with obtained First Aid Certificate requirements
**Previous experience**
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Existing First Aid certificate will be highly regarded (or willingness to obtain First Aid
Certificate)
- Strong interest in sports, exercises, and physical fitness activities
- Computer skills and knowledge
- Google Workspace suite
- Basic / Intermediate
- Intermediate understanding of digital based business practises
Knowledge and operation of standard office equipment
- Current knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent planning and organising
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks, deadlines and customer service enquiries

**Education**
- Certificate in Administration or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $22.61 per hour
