Join our state-wide Through Care Team with a direct focus on adult female clients who are identified as having mental health conditions and are considered to be of a high-risk of reoffending.
The role:
* Deliver intensive and high-quality casework to a discrete number of targeted adult female detainees (both pre and post release);
* Work collaboratively with correctional facility staff, specialist advocates and other stakeholders;
* Provide specialist referral pathways to adult female clients and their families, and in many contexts, their communities;
* Report on impact of your case work and network referrals;

About you:
* Offer your experience with a Degree in Social Work or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution (or a minimum five (5) years' demonstrated work experience with equivalent competencies relating to the case management of clients in the Criminal Justice System);
* Must be the holder (or be eligible for immediate application) of a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work;
* Demonstrate your professional familiarity with the Criminal Justice System;
* Must hold a current Driver Licence, have a reliable driving history and be willing to drive for work (essential);
* Experience working with clients in our network is highly regarded as are qualifications, research or current studies related to trauma-informed practice with adult female clients.
