The Role
Reporting to the Retail Area Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for leading and developing a site team to deliver exceptional customer service, safe and compliant operations, and strong financial results. You will be accountable for ensuring shop and forecourt standards are met, driving sales performance, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, and creating a high-performing and engaged team culture.
Responsibilities
The Site Manager leads all aspects of retail site operations – from health, safety, security and environment (HSSE), to customer service, sales performance, business controls, and team development. This role is key to delivering consistent site standards, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will provide
* Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all HSSE policies, procedures, and training are implemented, hazards/incidents are managed, and food/environmental safety standards are maintained.
* Customer Experience: Role model outstanding service, continuously improve the customer journey, and manage customer feedback channels.
* Sales & Retail Standards: Drive sales through effective ordering, promotional execution, product availability, and store presentation.
* Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, coach, and mentor team members, build capability, and create an inclusive, accountable, and engaged culture.
* Operational Excellence: Manage business controls including cash handling, cost control, stock management, security, payroll compliance, and price execution.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve processes, embrace change, and support new business initiatives.

About You
* Strong retail or service leadership experience, ideally in convenience, fuel, or QSR.
* Proven track record in delivering sales, service, and operational outcomes.
* Knowledge of HSSE, compliance, and retail operational frameworks.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
* Customer-first mindset with a hands-on, flexible approach.
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace change.
