Mining Engineering Program
This 12-week residential program at Ernest Henry site provides hands-on experience and mentorship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with underground drill and blast design preparation, supporting ventilation and ground support inspections.
* Collect and analyze production data from underground operations, updating mine plans and schedules under supervision.
* Participate in shift handovers and safety briefings, monitoring equipment performance and reporting issues.
* Collaborate with operators and engineers on production improvements.
About You:
* Current enrollment in a Mining Engineering or similar degree.
* Experience with relevant software and systems through studies or placements is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
* You must have effective communication skills across verbal, written, numerical, and graphical formats.
* Able to uphold high work standards and build strong relationships with peers and leaders.
* You will work independently to meet personal and team goals.
* A valid manual driver's license is required.
* We are looking for someone willing to live and work remotely.
