Are you a highly technical individual with a passion for 3D printing and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills? We are a small, dynamic company seeking a versatile and highly motivated Technical Sales Person with a strong work ethic to join our team.

This role requires a hands-on approach to 3D printing, combined with the ability to drive sales and support various business operations. You'll be instrumental in showcasing our 3D printing technology, providing expert advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial inquiry to post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales and Strategy

* Identify, qualify, and close leads and opportunities for 3D printing hardware, materials, services, and consulting.
* Drive the sales of 3D printers and related services for the professional and industrial 3D printer portion of our portfolio.
* Assist with overflow sales and support for our broader portfolio.
* Assist the leadership team with product and sales strategy, aiding the development of our sales processes and structures
* Plan and implement sales campaigns to help the business generate quality leads and opportunities.
* Collaborate with the team, sharing your product knowledge and sales experience to refine sales techniques to increase lead conversion
* Assist with marketing ideas, planning and content.
* Maintain in-depth, current knowledge of the best-in-class 3D printers and additive solutions available on the market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses
* Keep abreast of the 3D printing market, monitoring trends, new products and brands.

Customer Relationship Management and Technical Support

* Act as a subject matter expert, providing in-depth technical consultations to clients on material selection, printing technologies, design for additive manufacturing, and post-processing techniques. Offer technical support and guidance to clients on 3D printing best practices and product usage.
* Work with clients to define project requirements and develop complex, custom 3D printing solutions that solve specific challenges.
* Conduct technical presentations and training, product demonstrations, and site visits as required, to showcase the value and capabilities of our systems
* Maintain expert-level knowledge of 3D printers, materials, and services offered by the company, including hands-on familiarity with the equipment in our on-site warehouse.
* Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline from initial lead generation through to final contract negotiation and post-sale follow-up
* Coordinate or deliver basic technical training and support to new clients to ensure successful integration and adoption of purchased systems.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and technical specifications within the company's CRM system (Zoho)
* Phone and online order processing

Technical Production, Operations and General Support

* Hands-on, end-to-end 3D printing services including machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Work with selected suppliers to build a strong working relationship between Freedspace and suppliers.
* Act as a support backup for applicable equipment when required.
* Manage and/or assist with the management of events.
* Assist with packaging and organising shipments of products when required.
* Work with the team to ensure the demo area remains organised and clean.
* Undertake various administrative tasks to support daily operations.
* Be proactive and willing to assist in all areas of the business if/when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
