The Opportunity
Join Western Sydney University in a pivotal role that promotes fairness, integrity, and a positive organisational culture. As a
Case Manager
, you'll assess and manage staff and student complaints and misconduct matters with professionalism and empathy, ensuring timely and impartial resolution.
You'll lead investigations, interpret complex legislation and policy, and provide clear recommendations to senior decision-makers. Your work will help shape a safe "speak up" environment, drive systemic improvements, and strengthen trust across the University community.
Receive, assess, and manage complaints and misconduct matters with confidentiality and fairness.
Lead investigations, gather evidence, and provide impartial recommendations.
Interpret and apply complex legislation and policy frameworks.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor complaint data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Hawkesbury and Parramatta South campus, with hybrid working arrangements available.

About You
You're a skilled case manager who values fairness, integrity, and creating a safe, respectful environment. You bring experience in managing complex complaints and investigations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring impartial and timely outcomes.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, you thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities without losing sight of quality. You understand legislation, equity principles, and trauma-informed approaches, and you know how to apply them in sensitive situations.
Your communication skills set you apart—you build trust, engage with people in challenging circumstances, and translate complex policies into clear advice. Above all, you're committed to fostering a culture where people feel safe to speak up and confident their concerns will be handled with respect.
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Experience in complex complaints and investigations

Remuneration Package
HEW Level 8 $138,029 to $153,227 p.a. (comprising Salary of $116,636 to $129,479 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
