You will assist in guiding teams across the organisation through compliant and value-driven procurement activities. From coordinating tenders and quotations to managing contract records and supporting vendor engagement, your contribution will play a key part in ensuring process integrity and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer procurement activities, including tenders, RFQs, and supplier onboarding.
- Maintain and update procurement registers and associated documentation.
- Provide accurate advice and support on contract management and compliance requirements.
- Assist with contract variations, closeouts, and general lifecycle management.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies in procurement practices.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Commerce, or relevant experience in procurement roles.
- Prior experience supporting procurement or contract administration functions (local government experience highly regarded).
- Comfortable using procurement and contract management systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Current National Police Clearance.
